This notice covers the Pip & Clef launch list — the email signup on this website.
What we collect, and why
When you join the launch list we collect your email address, optionally your first name, and which channel brought you here (for example Instagram or TikTok). We use this solely to send you updates about Pip & Clef books — artwork previews, launch news and, on launch day, where to buy. The lawful basis is your consent, given when you sign up and confirm by email (double opt-in).
Who holds it
The list is stored and emails are sent by MailerLite, our email service provider, acting as a data processor on our behalf. We don't sell or share your details with anyone else.
Children
Our books are for children, but this list is for grown-ups — parents, carers and teachers. We don't knowingly collect children's personal data.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or until we retire the list. If you never confirm your signup, the unconfirmed record is deleted automatically.
Your rights
- Unsubscribe at any time — every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you promptly.
- You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: email contact@pipandclef.co.uk.
- You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This website sets no tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; the signup form submits directly to MailerLite.
